Applications for the 2021 National Sustainable Living Festival are now open.
COVID SAFE EVENTS
In-Person event applications apply to events that safely support people to attend live and in-person experiences that follow physically-distanced requirements. These events could be staged outdoors or COVID safe operating venues. All in-person event applications must comply with relevant COVID regulations at the time of the event date.
Online event applications apply to events that provide audiences with experiences from the safety of their home without needing to mask up. We’ve been updating our website so that Festival event organisers can link to their online events from one central location. So, be bold and get creative with your applications – from live streaming events, podcasts, interactive streams, Zoom forums, one-on-one online sessions to digital workshops, online panel discussions or maybe even a digital tour experience.
COVID SAFE EVENT SPACES
Events are staged throughout the Festival in a range of venues and spaces across cities, suburbs and streets. Venue Partners offer their location and spaces to help Festival Event Partners stage their events. Town halls, cafés, bars, restaurants, warehouses, museums, art galleries and sustainable buildings are all welcome to apply.
THE GREAT LOCAL LUNCH: HOME COOKED EDITION
Calling all growers, gleaners and local food lovers - The Festival’s most anticipated sustainable food event is back! Only this time, we’re taking it to backyards and kitchens all across Australia to present the first ever ‘Home Cooked Edition’, hosted live by the ABC’s Costa Georgiadis online.
